AbbVie seeks a Field Coverage Representative for Inside Sales to support pharmaceutical sales operations across the nation. The role combines field-based and office work from Austin, TX, focusing on relationship building with healthcare providers through phone and in-person engagement to drive product objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and virtual coverage for field sales vacancies and account management
• Conduct product education and deliver cost-access information to targeted healthcare professionals
• Execute pre-call planning, coordinate field resources, and manage customer follow-up interactions
• Maintain product expertise and ensure accurate data entry of customer interactions and outcomes
• Meet established call volume metrics and sales attainment objectives while building customer relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum one year of direct sales experience with proven track record
• Consistent achievement of sales targets in quota-driven environments
• Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette
• Healthcare industry experience with physician and office staff interaction preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical or medical device field
