SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST / SCRUB TECH
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay: $29.00–$34.50/Hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Shift: 1st Shift | No Nights or Weekends
Experience: 1+ Year in Surgery, IR, Cath Lab, or Special Procedures
Certification: BLS Required | CST Preferred
POSITION OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking a Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech to support vascular access and interventional procedures in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
You’ll prepare procedure rooms, independently scrub cases, maintain sterile technique , and assist physicians and clinical teams throughout procedures.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Prepare patients, equipment, and procedure rooms before cases.
• Scrub in and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures.
• Assist physicians and clinical staff during interventional procedures.
• Arrange and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain procedural instruments and equipment.
• Complete post-procedure room turnover and prepare for upcoming cases.
• Monitor and maintain medical supply and procedural inventory.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Associate degree from a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technology program .
• 1+ year of experience in Surgery, Special Procedures, Interventional Radiology (IR), Cardiac Cath Lab, or related setting.
• At least 1 year of operating room experience assisting with surgical or interventional procedures.
• Ability to independently scrub cases and maintain sterile technique .
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation, aseptic technique, and patient safety standards.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
