Senior Electrical Technician

Houston, TX

Join a Fortune 500 EPC company supporting complex industrial and energy-related projects. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and keeping a manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, facility equipment, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues involving 480V, 208V, 120V, and 24VDC systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-based control systems, motor starters, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Repair and maintain CNC machinery and other industrial equipment.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and replace defective machine components.
• Assist with new equipment installations, including conduit and wiring.
• Complete maintenance work orders, service records, and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Follow established safety procedures and support continuous improvement efforts.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.

• 3+ years of CNC machine repair experience.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-based control systems.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, instrumentation drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize repairs, and follow written procedures.
• Ability to work overtime and accommodate night-shift requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified electrician with an industrial maintenance background.
• Knowledge of three-phase power preferred.
• Experience with Diesel engines.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing plant or industrial production environment.
