Overview

System One is seeking an experienced Reports & Information Manager to support a large-scale construction program within the data center and mission-critical infrastructure sector.

This individual will bring structure and clarity to complex project data, consolidating information from multiple sources into accurate, actionable reporting for project teams and senior leadership.

This is more than an administrative reporting role. The successful candidate will understand the information behind the numbers, challenge inconsistencies, identify trends and provide insights that help project leadership make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, validate, organize and reconcile information from project controls systems, contractor reports, schedules, cost reports, procurement systems, document management platforms and field teams.
  • Develop concise, accurate reports highlighting performance trends, risks, issues, variances, decisions and required actions.
  • Maintain data integrity by identifying inconsistencies, investigating discrepancies and implementing quality control measures.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations using Microsoft Excel, Power BI and other reporting tools.
  • Establish and maintain reporting frameworks, data registers, reporting calendars, templates and information workflows.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to close data gaps and ensure reporting deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Present findings to project teams, functional leaders, contractors and senior management, translating complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Collaborate across Construction, Engineering, Project Controls, Contracts, Procurement, Finance, IT and contractor organizations.

Requirements

  • Experience in reporting, information management, project controls or project administration on large-scale construction, data center, power generation, infrastructure or major capital projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to consolidate data from multiple sources and translate it into clear, actionable reports.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with reporting tools.
  • A disciplined approach to data accuracy, validation and quality control.
  • Understanding of how schedule, cost, procurement, engineering, contracts, quality, safety and field progress data intersect.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards and visualizing project performance and trends.
  • Previous experience supporting data center construction or other mission-critical infrastructure projects.

Key Competencies

  • Analytical, organized and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working with incomplete information, multiple data formats and changing requirements.
  • Takes ownership of deliverables and drives accountability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
  • Practical, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to move between detailed analysis and executive-level reporting.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate can bring order to complex information, identify what matters most and provide leadership with a reliable view of project performance—even when data is incomplete or inconsistent. Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, attention to detail and clear communication are essential.

Working Environment
This is a hands-on, site-engaged role within a fast-paced construction program characterized by aggressive schedules, evolving priorities and multiple contractors working concurrently.
