Travel OB Scrub Technician – Labor & Delivery | Greenville, SC

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday
• Hours per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730 - $1,860

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of OB experience required
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• BLS certification required
• Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology preferred/required for role eligibility
• Experience supporting C-sections, D&C procedures, cerclage placements, and vaginal deliveries preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and surgical count procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery and OB scrub tech environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with scrubbing and supporting surgical procedures, including C-sections and related OB cases
• Prepare the procedure area and maintain a sterile field using proper aseptic technique
• Perform accurate sharps, sponge, and instrument counts in accordance with policy and patient safety standards
• Set up and tear down vaginal delivery tables and assist with vaginal deliveries as needed
• Support physicians during procedures, including assistance with vaginal repair when appropriate
• Maintain supplies, cleanliness, and readiness of OR, sub-sterile, inpatient, and outpatient areas
• Monitor supply levels, check expiration dates, and help manage special-order inventory
• Provide therapeutic support, comfort, and patient care assistance in a compassionate manner
• Assist with clerical and unit support tasks such as record preparation, charting support, and obtaining supplies
