Synergize helps nonprofit partners connect with individuals who care about their missions. We are seeking a personable, motivated Nonprofit Fundraising Associate to help communicate campaign goals and engage potential supporters through face-to-face outreach.

This is an entry-level opportunity for someone interested in nonprofit work, communication, and relationship building. Training on partner organizations and campaign messaging is provided.

Responsibilities

• Explain nonprofit missions, programs, and approved fundraising initiatives.
• Engage potential supporters in respectful, informative conversations.
• Present campaign information clearly and answer questions using approved materials.
• Follow established procedures for documenting supporter interest and contributions.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate campaign feedback to the team.
• Represent partner organizations professionally and ethically.

Qualifications

• Clear verbal communication skills.
• Genuine interest in community or nonprofit initiatives.
• Professionalism, persistence, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work toward clearly communicated campaign goals.
• No previous fundraising experience required.

Work Environment

This role involves face-to-face public engagement and may require travel to designated outreach locations within the Sacramento region. Specific schedules, travel expectations, and compensation arrangements will be discussed during the hiring process.
